Americans donated an average of 1.6 million dollars an hour in the weeks following Haiti’s deadly earthquake, but Americans give more than money to help out in disasters. We talk with Wendy Smith, author of Give a Little: How Your Small Donations Can Transform Our World. And, for Global Activism, Dr. Amy Lehman tells about the floating health clinic she’s developing. The boat will provide medical services to people living in isolated communities around Lake Tanganyika-which lies in between Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia and DRC.
