We invite you to join us for a discussion of Listen to This, the new book by New Yorker music critic Alex Ross. His previous book, The Rest is Noise, was a finalist for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and won several awards, including a National Book Critics Circle Award. With Listen to This, Ross hopes to introduce “crucial figures and ideas in classical music, and also give an alternative perspective on modern pop.”
