Sam Adam Jr. and Judge James Zagel ended yesterday’s court proceedings in the corruption trial of Rod Blagojevich with a testy exchange. It revolved around what Adam could and could not say during his closing arguments. Zagel told Adam if he crossed the line, he’d be held in contempt. Adam said it’s a chance he’s willing to take. So, will he present the closing argument as planned? Or will someone else? Andy Shaw from the Better Government Association explains the significance of each side’s final statements.
