Convened the end of the first hundred days of the Obama administration, the ARC’09 Movement Summit gave over 400 activists a chance to assess the state of national politics and the progressive movement

James Thindwa, executive director of Chicago Jobs with Justice and a member of the In These Times board of directors
Nadia Hijab, senior fellow at Institute for Palestinian Studies and author of Womanpower: The Arab Debate on Women at Work
Bill Ayers (moderator), antiwar activist, writer and educational reform advocate.
