I went to to the African-Caribbean International Festival of Life last weekend in Washington Park.

I took my camera along. Musical acts like Angela Winbush and‚  Dancehall star Shaggy were among the performers (although Shaggy didn’t show). I was interested in capturing the people, and how giant Washington Park—for a few warm days in the summer—transformed into a place of beauty, pride, food, music, community and culture.
