Schoenberg’s monodrama Erwartung (Expectation) is discussed by Director Ken Cazan and Conductor Alexander Platt, interviewed by Chicago Opera Theater’s General Director Brian Dickie. 

Ken Cazan is the Resident Stage Director for the USC Thornton School of Music. He has directed over 120 productions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Italy. Career highlights include the American staged premieres of Handel’s Agrippina  for the Fort Worth Opera and Mozart’s Mitridate re di Ponto  for Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
