Listen in to Goodman Theatre’s Artist Encounter, a discussion about the theatre’s production of John Logan’s RED.  WBEZ’s Steve Edwards moderates this conversation about 20th-century artist Mark Rothko with artistic director and RED director, Robert Falls, production dramaturg Neena Arndt, and School of Art Institute art history professor David Raskin.  Using John Logan’s two-person drama, which includes dramatic characterizations of Mark Rothko and his fictional assistant, Edwards leads a fascinating discussion about everything from the approach to directing RED to the artistic legacy of Rothko as an abstract expressionist.
