Daniel Mendelsohn discusses his new book, The Lost: The Search for Six of the Six Million, with acclaimed author and historian Garry Wills.  The Lost: The Search for Six of the Six Million is the story of Mendelsohn’s search to learn about the fates of family members who perished in the Holocaust, and was published by HarperCollins In September 2006 to extraordinary critical acclaim.  From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Mendelsohn was a Lecturer in the Department of Classics at Princeton University; he is currently the Charles Ranlett Flint Professor of Humanities at Bard College.
