Battle Over Lucas Museum Continues In Court

Another lakeside location for the proposed Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is being floated by Mayor Emanuel. Right now the city and the Friends of the Parks are in a court battle over whether the museum would block public access to the lake.

McCormick Place East is the latest location being floated by Mayor Rahm Emanuel to house the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The city and the group Friends of the Parks are battling in federal court over whether the museum can be built on lakefront land. 

Both sides are set to square off at the Dirksen Federal Building on Tuesday Lucas.
