Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, Illinois U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and Congressman Danny Davis dedicated the new bridge on North Avenue, just west of Clybourn. Anyone out there been over the new suspension/cable stay bridge? Is traffic moving better in the neighborhood, or is it just as slow as it was before construction started? Besides talking about the bridge, they also discussed earmarks and the recent threats against Daley’s Michigan home.
