Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble is a group of three musicians from Germany who sought to combine their classical music training with their love for hypnotic house and techno. On their second record Mr. Machine the lines between the two began to blur even more as the group expanded to a 10 member ensemble and masterfully delivered that hypnotic orchestral techno feel with classical instruments. Vocalo’s MusicVox producer Fyodor sat down with Daniel Brandt, Jan Brauer and Paul Frick when the trio came through Chicago in support of their new record.
