Chicago-based Boeing announced two more multibillion dollar deals from the Paris Air Show today.

The first, a deal with Aeroflot for eight 777-300ER jets, is worth $2.27 billion. And low-cost carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle announced an order for 15 Boeing 737-800s, worth $1.2 billion at list prices, although carriers often negotiate discounts on big orders.

This after Boeing announced Monday an order from Qatar Airways for six 777 jets, a $1.7 billion deal.

Boeing has faced pressure to manufacture a plane to compete with Airbus’ more fuel efficient A320neo. But Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Jim Albaugh says the company won’t rush into a decision. Boeing is considering whether to re-engine the current 737s, or develop an entirely new plane.

Airbus announced today a commitment from U.S. aircraft leasing company CIT Group for 50 of its A320neos, a deal worth up to $5.3 billion.
