Panelists include

Jennifer Hou Kwong (Jian Ping) is the author of Mulberry Child: A Memoir of China. She founded MoraQuest in 2008, a consulting firm specialized in bridging U.S.-China cultural differences in communities and public speaking. Jian has a bachelor’s degree in English from Jilin University, Changchun, China and dual master’s degrees in Film and International Affairs from Ohio University. She is a member of the China Committee, Chicago International Sister Cities Organization, and is a sought-after speaker on issues related to China, women’s leadership, immigrant assimilation, and writing.

Todd Stocke is vice president and editorial director of Sourcebooks, a leading independent publisher located in Naperville, Illinois. Since 1994, he has overseen the growth of its list from 10 new titles a year to its current annual output of 300 in most bookstore categories, including fiction, nonfiction, young adult, and children’s books.

Doug Seibold has been a writer, editor, and publishing professional in Chicago since 1986. His writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post, and many other publications. He has worked for a wide variety of commercial and nonprofit publishing companies, producing both books and journals. He founded Agate Publishing in 2003. He established ProBooks, Agate’s digital content development venture, in 2005. He acquired Surrey Books, now an imprint of Agate, in 2006.
