Bradford Morrow presents “My Willa Cather,” the keynote program of the 2009 International Cather Seminar. This year, the seminar is exploring the connections between Cather, Chicago and Modernism.

Bradford Morrow is a novelist and author of Come Sunday, Trinity Fields, Giovanni’s Gift, The Fifth Turning and a short story collection, Lush. He was presented with the 1998 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature.  In 2007, Morrow was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in fiction as well as the PEN/Nora Magid Award for excellence in literary journal editing. Morrow is a professor of literature and Bard Center Fellow at Bard College. He’s working on a new novel called The Prague Sonatas. This keynote speech was presented by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Willa Cather Foundation.
