Bulls’ General Manager Gar Forman is sharing the NBA’s Executive of the Year award with the General Manager of the Miami Heat, Pat Riley.

Forman is credited with bringing in several key players this year to compliment superstar Derrick Rose and hiring NBA Coach of the Year Tom Thibodeau. The team finished the regular season with the best record in the NBA, snagging 62 wins.

This completes the trophy collection for the 2010-11 Bulls, who saw Thibodeau win Coach of the Year and Derrick Rose win MVP.

This is the third Executive of the Year trophy awarded to the Chicago Bulls in team history. Jerry Krause won the award in 1995-96, Phil Jackson was Coach of the Year and Michael Jordan was MVP.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls will be looking to regain their intensity as they head into Game Five of their playoff series against Atlanta Tuesday night.

The Eastern Conference Semifinals return to Chicago after the Bulls suffered a humbling defeat in Atlanta on Sunday. The best-of-seven series is now tied at two games a piece.

Bulls forward Taj Gibson told reporters Tuesday the talent on both teams is equal, but the venue for tonight’s game plays into the Hawks’ favor.

“For them, they just have to come in and just play solid,” Gibson said. “For us, it’s a lot of pressure because you’re playing in front of a home crowd … and it’s a tough series.”

Bulls star Derrick Rose, meanwhile, did not seem fazed about coming back to the United Center.

“Not at all,” he said. “If anything, all of us is anxious right now because we know we can do so much better.”

Tipoff tonight is 7 p.m. Central Time. The series heads down to Atlanta for Game Six on Thursday. If necessary, it comes back to Chicago for a final game Sunday.
