Chris Bosh was the big story for much of the first half of play in Game Three of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat on Sunday.

Bosh was on fire, scoring 16 during the first half and propelling the Heat to a narrow 43-40 lead over the Bulls at halftime.

While Bosh had the hot hand for the Heat, the Bulls were noticeably cooler - going just 16 of 40 during the half.  Bulls star, NBA MVP Derrick Rose was just 4 of 12 from the field.

Game Three of the Eastern Conference Finals is the Bulls’ first road game in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Chicago looked good on both ends of the court during Game One of the series, and decisively beat the Heat by 21 points.

But Bulls cooled off dramatically in Game Two and Miami delivered a humbling victory at the United Center.

Chicago forward Luol Deng said, on Sunday, Chicago will try to turn the tables once again.

“You know, they responded well, they took one,” Deng said of Wednesday’s game. “And now it’s on us to go down there and … and try to win.”

Bulls star Derrick Rose, meanwhile, said the team isn’t getting too discouraged by their last defeat.

‘The playoffs [are] gonna challenge you [in] every way possible. And you just gotta stick together,” Rose said.

The winner of the best-of-seven game series will win a trip to the NBA Finals.  A Bulls victory in the series would mark team’s first trip to the finals since the Michael Jordan era.

Game Four is scheduled for Tuesday and also will be played in Florida.
