The Chicago Cubs battled the rain and the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field today while the White Sox battled back from a big deficit only to lose late. The Cubs introduced Japanese sensation Kosuke Fukudome, who answered the fan's cheers with a 9th inning 3 run home run to tie the ballgame. Fukudome's heroics weren't enough as the the Cubs lost in the 10th inning 4-3. Several Chicago Cub luminaries were in attendance for "Ernie Banks Day", where the Cubs dedicated a new statue in honor of Mr. Cub. The White Sox lost 10-8 despite Jim Thome's 2 home runs.
