Chatham Food Center on YouTube

As you may have heard on the radio this morning, Chatham Food Center founder Leonard Harris recently sold his store. That marks the end of an era for the region since Chatham Food Center was the last full service grocery store in Chicago that was black-owned. In March 2007 the folks over at did a video tour of the store and spoke briefly with Mr. Harris. Back then he said he hoped to be around the store for another five to ten years, but I guess since then he changed his mind.
