360 Degrees: Art Beyond Borders brings together Chicago's leading cultural institutions-the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Poetry Foundation, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs-to celebrate cultural, social, and political life around the world. As part of the season's opening day festivities, Richard Longworth, Senior Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and author of Caught in the Middle: America's Heartland in the Age of Globalism, focuses on Chicago as a global city and describes its great current economic transformation.
