Listen in as Ken Burns and Lynn Novick of Florentine Films and John Russick, the Chicago History Museum’s director of curatorial affairs, discuss Chicago in documentary film. The program features clips from several of their works, including the upcoming documentary Prohibition, which will premiere on PBS this October. Pete Crowley, head brewer at Haymarket Brewery, specially brewed pre-prohibition beer made exclusively for this event, and prohibition-era cocktails were crafted by master mixologist Angie Jackson.
