Chicago Police: 120 Arrests Since The Start Of Last Week’s Crackdown

The Chicago Police Department said it arrested 120 people since the department began a crackdown on illegal guns and drug sales late last week. Anthony Riccio, the Chief of Organized Crime for the department, said officers were targeting the most violent people and not people with addiction problems. He added that a good portion of the arrests were in the 11th district on the West Side - and that officers also picked up 19 guns.
