The race for Mayor is on with an election that takes place February 27th, 2007.  Mayor Daley is looking for his sixth term and both Dorothy Brown and William “Doc” Walls are challenging his re-election.  Listen in for an interesting discussion with both the challengers along with Paul Green, director of the School of Policy Studies at Roosevelt University, and Dick Simpson, professor of political science at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

This program is not a debate, but rather an enlightening discussion on politics and the candidates’ positions.

The Chicago History Museum, in conjunction with The Public Square at the Illinois Humanities Council, is pleased to introduce In The K/Now, a monthly series that explores the issues Chicago residents face living in an urban society.

Recorded Thursday, February 01, 2007 at Chicago History Museum.
