Chicago Reduces Emissions; Uncertain Of Federal Support

The city of Chicago has reduced carbon emissions by 7 percent in a five-year span. City officials say the progress came in part from federal help with initiatives like energy updates in residential buildings and modernization of public transportation. But officials also say they are uncertain whether those efforts will continue to get federal support.
