We take a trip up the Chicago River with Jonathan Genzen, author of the book The Chicago River: A History in Photographs. 

The Friends of the Chicago River hold their 16th annual Chicago River Day this Saturday, May 10, with clean up sites throughout the city, and a festival in the afternoon at River Park, 5100 N. Francisco. Thanks to Chicago Line Cruises for use of their dock at River East.
