Once completed, the Chicago Riverwalk will become a unique pedestrian waterfront that will be universally accessible and accommodate passive and active recreation. Wilson and Woods give an overview of the planning and development of new amenities along the Main Branch, which will result in a new civic focal point and green amenity for the city of Chicago.
