Hundreds of Chicagoans spent much of this weekend on the bus.
They joined travelers from across the country in journeying to Washington DC for the Women’s March on Washington – a protest against the newly inaugurated Trump administration. WBEZ’s Miles Bryan caught up with a group of about 110 women from the South Side who made the trek to the nation’s capital.
Kathleen Tobin, right, is 86. She’s travelling alone. “My kids all think I’m crazy,” she said “But thy don’t know me.” #womensmarch @WBEZ pic.twitter.com/Ni7LBrUEjY
