Three new dancers have joined Chicago’s famed Joffrey Ballet.

The ballet announced the dancers Wednesday as additions to the roster for the 2012-2013 season. The company now has 45 dancers.

The new dancers are Yoshihisa Arai from Japan, Guillaume Basso of France and Cara Marie Gary of Belton, S.C. They will start rehearsing with the company on July 30. All of Joffrey’s dancers from last season are returning to the company.

Joffrey Executive Director Christopher Clinton Conway says the company is continuing to grow in “size and world-class reputation” with an international roster.
