In China, marriage-age men outnumber women by the millions. Experts predict that by 2020, the number of men unable to find wives will reach the population of Texas. Many men have taken on traditionally female roles in the community like caregiving. Deborah Jian Lee and Sushma Subramanian recently visited bachelor village Gao Po, where men face the likely prospect of never finding wives. They tell Worldview what they found.
