City Council To Consider Settlement For Family Of Man Tasered By Police

Philip Coleman’s dad Percy says that in December of 2012, his son suffered some sort of a mental breakdown and attacked his mother...police then took Philip into custody.

Video of what happened when Coleman was in lockup was released last December. In less than three minutes -- Coleman is tasered, forced to the ground and then dragged by his handcuffs out of his cell by Chicago police.

The Chicago City Council’s Finance committee today will consider another multi-million dollar settlement stemming from police misconduct.
