February 23, 2011 will be a historic day for Chicago. The municipal election will decide a successor to Mayor Richard M. Daley who has reigned over Chicago for 22 years. This election could also bring the largest turn over in city council in decades.

On the dawn of this new day, join WBEZ’s flagship show in a gathering of Chicago residents and community leaders who will set priorities for the new city council.  We’ve speak with the politicians that will usher in this new age and pundits, including the Chicago Tribune’s Rick Kogan and the Chicago Sun Times Kyra Kyles.
