While the effects of climate change will vary across different ecosystems and sectors, the Great Lakes region is expected to experience large changes in climate during the 21st century. In this presentation, David Scavia discusses the impacts of these changes on Great Lakes ecosystems and livelihoods and what the region needs to do to adapt. Scavia is Graham Family Professor and Director of the Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute at the University of Michigan. He is also a professor of Natural Resources and Environment and a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the university.

Recorded Thursday, October 7, 2010 at The Field Museum.
