Environmental conservation and environmental policy is a controversial topic and one that concerns every one of us. It is something that haunts us in our everyday life and begs the question, “Can one person really make a difference?” Is there a realistic answer to this question or is our contribution just an illusion? Pascal Bader addresses these and other important questions in his lecture.

Dr. Pascal Bader is Head of the Policy Department of the Ministry of the Environment of Baden-Württemberg. After studying Economics, Dr. Bader spent some time working on a research project at Harvard and is now responsible the sustainability strategy of the State of Baden-Württemberg. He is also responsible for the following subject areas: economy and environment, corporate social responsibility and product-related environmental protection.
