The day before the 6th Annual Disability Pride Parade, an open mic evening of poetry, essays and stories that illuminate the disability experience.

Five years ago, a small group of disability advocates organized the first disability pride parade, an event to share and build disability pride, culture and history.  Each year, one night before the parade, parade participants and others gather for a night of poetry, prose and music.
