On November 10, 2008, federal Judge Kocoras will consider releasing the Chicago Public School System from its consent decree to desegregate.  Such a determination effectively would abolish existing racial diversity goals in all Chicago magnet schools.  Listen in to learn the history of desegregation in the CPS system and how racial diversity in magnet schools may be preserved.
