The Chicago Bears are in Miami Thursday night to face the Dolphins.

It’s been a short week for the Bears, who are coming off a victory over Minnesota that propelled the team into a first place tie with the Green Bay Packers.

One key for the 6-3 Bears has been the recent improved play by the offensive line, a group that’s dealt with a number of early season injuries and struggles.

After Sunday’s victory, Coach Lovie Smith said he was pleased with the line’s improved play.

“This is a crew we want to go with; they should get better, just like our football team,” Smith said. “I mean, we’re just past the halfway point of the season, so much football left to go, and you want to continue. We haven’t peaked yet by any means.”

Bears wide receiver and return man Devin Hester comes into tonight’s game tied for the NFL record for the most all-time kickoff and punt return touchdowns.

The injury-plagued Dolphins may be forced to start their third-string quarterback. Kickoff tonight is at 7:20.
