The man who inspired dance moves throughout the hour was DJ Frique. Also known as Terry Allen, Frique spent the better part of the ’90s spinning house music throughout the city. But in the aughts, he moved a little closer to the mainstream. In recent years, he went back to his roots –as a club DJ and as a music and party producer. He also DJs a monthly residency at Crocodile Lounge on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago’s Wicker Park.
