Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs Tammy Duckworth took the stage last night at the Democratic National Convention after a video tribute to veterans. Duckworth reminisced about Obama’s visits to her and other veterans who were recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
