The UK band Dry the River is on its second tour of the United States.  Tonight they’ll play the Beat Kitchen in Chicago, and when they return in August, they’ll do so as part of this year’s Lollapalooza.

Dry the River joins us in studio to talk about their new release, Shallow Bed, and the narrative tool they use of religious imagery, which sprawls across the length of the release.  The east Londoners have received a great deal of buzz of late.  We’ll find out more about that, their friendships, and about what it’s been like for them on the open roads of America as they make their way across this country.
