These days it’s a given that people use their computers to find love. But playwright Jon Steinhagen would have us believe that going ga-ga through gadgets started happening when the very first computer arrived on the scene. His new work containing doses of both fact and fiction, takes us into the lives of two Victorian sisters, Polly and Marigold. Polly has invented a sort of proto-computer and the sisters put it to good use, trying to find suitors for themselves. The play is The Analytical Engine.
