To start things off Tuesday morning, WBEZ sports blogger Cheryl Raye-Stout previews Bears training and also gives her take on Penn State. Then we’ll have a conversation about mandatory national civil service with Stanford University’s James Sheehan, who has analyzed a variety of conscription models for the U.S. We’ll also talk with a Finnish Civil Service Centre trainer. To join in, call 312.923.9239. And the Cloudbirds, a side project of The M’s, will perform their country-folk harmonies live in studio throughout the hour.
