Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney grabbed an easy victory in Illinois’ primary. The former Massachusetts governor took 47 percent of the vote and at least 41 of Illinois’ 54 elected delegate spots.

Elsewhere, veteran U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., had a great day, veteran U.S. Rep. Don Manzullo had bad one and appointed Illinois Supreme Court Justice Mary Jane Theis is one step closer to winning a full term on the bench.
