Tony Blair served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 1997 to 2007. Since then he has launched the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, which promotes respect and understanding between the major world religions. Mr. Blair believes that faith is a force for good in the modern world and that it will influence how the challenges of globalization are met.

Mr. Blair is also a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, serving as the Quartet Representative for the United States, UN, Russia and EU. He also works on issues such as climate change, and on governance and investment projects in Rwanda and Sierra Leone.
