FBI Data: Chicago Among Small Group Of Cities Pushing Nationwide Murder Rate Up

Federal crime statistics released today show that Chicago was part of a small number of cities driving up the nationwide murder rate in 2015. The nationwide murder rate went up by about 11 percent from 2014 to last year. The list of cities includes Milwaukee, Houston, Washington D.C. and Chicago. But Baltimore was actually the most responsible for the growing homicide rate.
