Eight Forty-Eight

First brother-in-law Craig Robinson talks character on and off the court

In A Game of Character Michelle Obama’s brother Craig Robinson examines basketball as a metaphor for life. His memoir also takes readers inside the now famous family who shaped his life and values on and off the court.

The native South Sider and current Oregon State University coach visited Eight Forty-Eight in 2010 upon release of his book. He started by talking about when Michelle met President Barack Obama. He said the Robinsons weren’t sure Obama - aka "The Big B"– would make the grade.
