For The Second Straight Year, CPS Teachers Start School Without A Contract

Chicago teachers are going into a second school year working with no contract.

There are murmurs that a strike is possible in mid-October. 

The union and the board are scheduled to meet Thursday to start a new round of bargaining. 

WBEZ's Becky Vevea spoke with a teacher who hopes for a compromise.
