The Marxist rebel group known as the FARC has been waging a deadly war against the Colombian government for more than 40 years. In the last eight years, the rebel group lost roughly half its members. While many have been killed in military offensives, others have been lured away by a government program that promises amnesty or reduced prison terms to guerillas who put down their arms.

Reporter Nadja Drost brings us the story of one former rebel trying to make the shift to civilian life.
