Forty years ago, thousands of music lovers descended on Max Yasgur's 600 acre pig farm for three days of peace and music: The Woodstock Music and Art Fair. Sure, there was lots of rain, a shortage of food and water and some bad acid, but by most accounts it was a great once-in-a lifetime event.
This week on Radio M
, we commemorate the 40th anniversary of Woodstock with psychedelic sounds from around the globe.
Plus this month's featured album: Funky Nassau
by the Bahama based band The Beginning of the End.
