Appreciating food and wine requires us to be worldly. But sometimes, some of the best products are local. This week, take a food tour of Chicago’s different neighborhoods or head over to Brand BBQ for Sweet Charity’s special barbecue menu. And if you’re not a teetotaler, be sure to check out Koval whiskey’s “Tipplin’ Tuesday” free whiskey seminar.

Koval Distillery’s Tipplin’ Tuesday

Get your whiskey education on Tuesday, November 23 at 7 p.m. at Double A’s Tipplin’ Tuesday event. Guests will sample Koval’s Lion’s Pride white and aged whiskey, discuss aging techniques, and learn about making whiskey from scratch. The event will take place at 108 W. Kinzie below Mercadito, and admission is free, although space is limited.
