As the title would indicate, Terrence Malick’s new film, The Tree of Life, is something of an epic. The reclusive director’s latest offering, starring Brad Pitt, has been one of the most anticipated films at the Cannes Film Festival.

Film contributor Milos Stehik has seen, The Tree of Life, and he’s seen firsthand the French reaction to the arrest of Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
