In the wake of the global recession, Germany has emerged as Europe’s economic giant.  While citizens used to support the idea of a united Europe, their trust in the system has waned, as Greece and others teeter on the brink of collapse.  EU leaders like Chancellor Angela Merkel are struggling to counter the discontent. America Abroad Media’s Jordana Gustafson reports from Germany.
